Prerequisites:

• Any unmodded 2DS/3DS with a system firmware version from 1.0.0 to 11.3.0
  • To check your firmware version, go to the System Settings and look at the number on the lower-right side of the top screen.
• An SD/microSD card formatted to FAT32
• A device that has an SD/microSD card reader

1. Visit the SpotPassDumper9 for SoundHax minisite to download the .zip file for your system by entering your system's region, model, and firmware version.
2. Once you've downloaded the .zip file, extract its contents onto the root of your SD/microSD card.
3. Insert the SD/microSD card back into your system, then power on your system.
4. Open the Nintendo 3DS Sound application
5. Look for a sound named "<3 nedwill 2016" and play it. This may take up to 10 tries.
6. Follow the directions shown on the bottom screen.
7. When done, the file partitionA.bin will be located on your SD/microSD card in the /spotpass_cache/ folder.
8. Submit your dump using the green link below.
